Google Chrome now available for iOS, already top free app in the App Store

Google Chrome, one of the most popular web browsers (most popular by some), has finally been released for iOS. What is so special about Chrome for iOS? It has one killer feature, ability to sync bookmarks and tabs across devices. Check the hands-on video and speed comparison between Chrome and Safari after the break.

Privacy

I’m a Chrome desktop user and I really like the ability to have everything synced to my iPhone and iPad from my desktop browser including: tabs, bookmarks and passwords. I like the iOS version, great tab management, that extra row on the keyboard, its fast. I tried so many alternative browsers and none of them replaced Safari, but I’m definitely replacing it with Chrome. Only one drawback and it’s not Google’s fault, you can’t set Chrome as default browser, but I’m sure that the jailbreak community will come up with something.
Chrome is a universal app designed for both iPhone and iPad, requires iOS 4.3 or later and is available for free from the App Store.
